[FR UX] [iOS Gotify App] When tapping on new notification on lock screen, Gotify opens previous notification

🐛 Bug Description

Case:

• You get a gotify notification
• You tap on and read it
• you swipe out of the app after having read it (WITHOUT returning to the notification list, so the notification is still open in the app)
• you get a new notification
• You tap on it to read it
• Gotify opens but still shows the old notification

This is not an issue most of the time, but I use these messages to prompt me to confirm certain actions that my home automation does and this behaviour sometimes leads to me trying to confirm a past action.

I would expect for Gotify to always open the notification that I just tapped on and not to show an old notification.

This is not a bug, but a feature request in the area of ​​UX. This will be addressed in a future version of the app as soon as I have more time, as I am very busy in my free time and therefore currently have no time for development.

thank you for the quick reply.
I do not agree that this is not a bug, since I see no reason why the original feature would be that tapping on a new notification opens an old notification in the gotify app.

But again, this is really just a minor inconvenience.

The App source code is not hosted publicly, correct?

It is not an bug, because iOS Apps hold the current app navigation state, only when you slide the app from the background it reset the navigation state.
