While working on upgrading the library from Node 20 to Node 24, I noticed that a good handful of devDependencies are outdated and/or have vulnerabilities. Although these are just development dependencies, there is a good mixture of high, medium, and low vulnerabilities within the list of outdated devDependencies that should be taken care of. Plus, Prettier, which is outdated in this repo as well, currently has an issue interpreting newer keywords introduced in later NodeJs versions such as the switch from assert to with for import statements.
