The goal is a place where people learn security without hassling each other. Be direct, be useful, and assume good faith until evidence says otherwise.
Behavior that gets you moderated:
- harassment, slurs, or personal attacks;
- posting other people's private information;
- sharing flags, full solutions, or writeups for content under embargo;
- uploading malware, doxxing tools, or anything whose main purpose is harming systems or people outside the lab scope;
- using the platform as a staging ground for attacks on real targets.
Security discussion is welcome. Crime is not. Teaching someone how a buffer overflow works is fine; helping them break into a specific third party is not.
Maintainers act on reports sent through the GitHub contact for this repository. Actions range from a private warning to removal of content, revocation of access, and a ban. Decisions are logged in the moderation audit trail with reasons. Appeals go to a different maintainer than the one who issued the action.
