0.30.9: klayout fails with std::bad_alloc on bigger .oas file

I'm using Klayout 0.30.9-win64 (downloaded as binary from the downloadpage as zip-file.

When I'm loading one of our bigger layouts. I get after some time i get an error. std::bad_alloc.
The file I'm trying to open is about 202MB in size and contains some hierarchy.

This is a regression though. I can open this file (and even some bigger ones) with klayout-0.29.8 it opens without problems.

There is no known issue with high memory consumption in recent versions.

Please check, if you have used viewer mode in both cases. Specifically with OASIS, loading a file in editor mode will expand the repetitions which is likely to blow up files.
