Rainbow Six Siege no longer starts once compressed

Rainbow Six Siege installed through Steam no longer starts once compressed (it's stuck on the splash screen before the main window shows up). Uncompressing the game's installation folder fixes the issue.

For reference, here are the settings I was using:

A friend of mine did the same (but with XPRESS8K instead of 16K) and ran into the same issue on Windows 11.

Same with LZX. Probably related to anticheat. I think having a per folder whitelist option that compresses only certain file extensions (bypassing the global blacklist in settings) would fix this issue. Example: R6Siege data files have a .forge extension, if we had that option in the menu in your screenshot and added .forge to it then we'd avoid compressing anything else that may mess with the AC (and non .forge files are small anyways).
