Front-end design review of the TraitMech site against dataviz + artifact-design. Tracked in the cross-Mech umbrella (culturebotai-claw).

• Embedding click-through 404 on all 477 points (uppercase CATEGORY_DIR vs lowercase category; label≠filename) → authoritative id→href map, 477/477 resolve (Fix embedding-plot click-through (404 on every point) #148)

Review surfaced a residual CDN dependency beyond the d3-only cleanup scope: trait.html loads dagre from cdn.jsdelivr.net for the causal-graph section. Vendor it locally like d3 in a follow-up. (Also: the now-unused traits_root kwarg passed to the umap/graph render calls can be dropped.)
