+Student accounts are provisioned through the [GitHub Student Developer Pack](https://education.github.com/pack) and sign in via GitHub at https://app.carto.com/students. The QGIS Plugin login screen doesn’t offer a GitHub sign-in option, and the student login link on that screen opens the CARTO web workspace instead of completing the login inside QGIS.
